It’s October and “the heat is on!” With daytime temperatures rising well into the 20’s and 30’s we are all set for some sizzling summer weather – ideal for hiking and cycling Lindani’s trails in the cool early mornings, followed by lazy days around your lodge’s own swimming pool!

The Countdown Has Begun!
Things are also “heating up” as we head for our first Top of the Waterberg gravel ride/run on 16 October! With a good field of entrants already, we are all looking forward to an exciting, challenging, and extraordinary event! Entries are still open, so book your space for the 120km ride, the 100km run or the 30km run/ride with Shane’s Trail Adventure (contact them at gouldie@icon.co.za or 082 332 9552).

Celebration Time!
September saw some wonderful celebrations at Lindani.
Charles and Adri Baird have been coming to Lindani for the last 22 years, so it was a great privilege and honour, to have hosted their daughter, Lian’s, marriage to Tiaan. The beautiful ceremony, held under the Giant Fig Tree, was followed by an intimate sunset reception at Makgetelo. The Lindani kitchen team, as always, provided gorgeous table settings, which, with the bride and groom’s own personal decorating touches, created a fairy-tale venue for the night. A fabulous menu, personalised service and loads of goodwill and love, made for a very special occasion!
Congratulations Lian and Tiaan! We wish you many years of joy and blessings! And perhaps a new generation of Lindani lovers?
Congratulations, too, to Jordy, who celebrated her 18th birthday, also with a beautiful sunset dinner at Makgetelo. Many Happy returns, Jordy, on your special day and may you have a fabulous year ahead!

We are happy to say that September saw some wonderful bookings and we would like to take the opportunity to thank our loyal guests who come time and again, and to wholeheartedly welcome any newcomers!
As we head towards the end of the year, reservations of our lodges are filling up. So don’t delay in contacting us if you are thinking of escaping the city for a while.
Just a reminder that you may book Impala or Bushbuck cottages at Motseng Village, independently. While these 4 sleeper lodges share the swimming pool and volleyball court with Motseng main, each cottage is still perfectly situated to afford you all the privacy and independence you may want.
Don’t overlook our tented camp, Molope, which offers a unique “luxury” camping experience.
Our campsite too, offers a beautiful opportunity for youngsters, groups or those who prefer real camping.
