For the convenience of birding enthusiasts, each lodge has a list of birds and a bird guide book. Lindani boasts a variety of over 230 species of birds and guests are welcome to bird anywhere on the farm (other than the designated private areas around lodges).

Apart from the buffalo, which are kept in a controlled area, Lindani does not have The Big 5, so you are quite safe on the trails. As no hunting is permitted, animals are generally calm and used to people, allowing for some really close viewings.

Unfortunatley, Lindani does not allow guests to drive at night.

You do not need a 4×4 for most of the roads and those roads you do need a 4×4 are very clearly marked. If possible, though, a car with higher clearance is advisable, particularly if there has been a wet season.

Unfortunately, motorbikes and quadbikes are NOT allowed for game viewing or recreational purposes. However, it is permissible to access your lodge per motorbike.
